Wiki
The sweatshirt is a garment made with a plain knitted chain fabric. The fabric can be passed under a called gauze 'which extracts the hair on the inside, and is defined as a' brushed 'fleece. The light one, used during the mid-seasons, is usually 'rough', that is, it has not passed under the gauze and is therefore devoid of internal hair (in commercial jargon it is also called French terry). Originally born to practice sports, it is also worn regularly (like sweaters and pullovers). The English name is «sweatshirt», literally «sweat shirt».
The sweatshirt normally goes from the waist to the neck, is long-sleeved and exists in different versions: with hood, sleeveless, with zip or with central pocket.
